The Beetlebums Stocking tomorrow
Okey dokey - pics coming soon of some fitteds that I have hand dyed, and a couple of hand dyed Woolly Nightpockets. YAY!!!!
Ive been having real issues with my internet connection again. Woe is me! Anyway, Im going to preview everything and might have to stock in the morning which isnt convenient I know, but my internet is non-existent in the evenings for some strange reason. If I am going to stock in the morning it will be at about 7am AEST (QLD time), to catch you as you go out the door on your morning fun time errands :D. I will announce the official time tonight :D

Megsies surprise :)
The frog nappy is now a set!
I made this Inside Out and it was auctioned. Ive been on a bit of a dyeing rampage so made this tee to match :). I can show you now, as the set is complete at its new home :).
I will be stocking this weekend folks. Fitteds, Woolly Nightpockets, Minky pockets and A12s and of course the odd Inside Out or two :). I think it might be a gradual stocking, it seems to work well. See how I feel after burning the midnight oil tonight. Of course I will update here when I decide :)!!!!

OMG!
I thought that I had made the coolest nappy ever (well, that I've made anyway!) - you know, les senorita? Well... the nappy I made tonight might top it...
No pics yet. It completes a special trade that will ship express tomorrow.
Then I may reveal :D
I WANT TO KEEP IT!
All this talk of an awesome trade really needs some sort of visual affirmation
Awesome wickedness from our wonderful Megsie at Pint. I can not get Tajs' shirt dry fast enough to get it back on him (they grow so fast!). My little spoonman (he walks now, but has been crawling with cooking utensils in his hands - spatula, spoon... whisk!) looks amazing in his Pint teeHere is Mr T and Lil Miss Lola on Tajs' first birthday :). They make my guts bust!!!!
I personally think he might be a Jamie Oliver in the making :D *bliss*
Miss Lola is loving Lena (her new Pixie) so much - she sleeps on her left side, just under her leaf that hangs at the end of her bed :).
Thankyou Miss Megsie!!!

I lost my mind over these
I have been thinking about making pads, have talked to a very well known WAHM about using her design and purchased the Fern and Fairie patterns to play around with.
Anyway, there is a pad swap going on Nappycino right now and I didnt put my hand up. Carmen did it for me :P. After making twelve disgusting pads (Im not kidding, I wouldn't even use them), wasting over a yard of fabric and three patterns later I finally settled on the Fern and Fairy design with the LEAST curves. Alot of swearing occurred during their creation but Im really really happy with the result. Ive decided though that perhaps Im too much of a perfectionist to make pads. They HAVE to be symmetrical with perfect overlocking and the upper and lower fabrics perfectly to the edge (no internal fabric showing AT ALL). I get pukey angry when I think that Ive got it, turn it over and there is about 2mm of inner showing under the print. aRgH!
Back to sewing what I sew best...

This one is for ME!!!!!!! *squeak*
Ive been completely in love with Melrose Pony (an extremely hard to find, out of print Kaufman fabric) ever since I first laid eyes on it. I found 1/2 yd on Ebay and ended up bidding over $60 (eep!) for the lot. Needless to say, no-one is as silly as me and I won, got just over 1/2 yard and have stared at it since.
Ive since got Melrose Pony in the pink colourway too, which is beyond awesome. Just need the orange to really satisfy my orange Melrose fetish.
Now, I know that the print isnt officially called 'Pony' or 'Peony'. I just want to know which one it is (out of the two Ive mentioned...). Anyone know?

You like?!
I am so overwhelmed at the response that I have received since launching my carriers! I love making them so much, and with at least 6 hours work in each carrier you would understand that just to get motivated to make them Ive got to really feel it. It is because of this that I cant possibly do custom carriers - its really really hard for me to say no every time I do but you have to understand that I have to. Custom anything (nappies or carriers) freak me out, make me feel stressed and time poor, even if it is just one or two things. And in the act of saying yes to one mama I have to say yes to everyone. So there it is!!!
I am working on another couple of special carriers right now, one as a thank you gift to a wonderful mama who just put everything into a cause we all had something to do with.
On the nappy front. There arent going to be any for awhile - Ive got 1/2 yard of procare left, and it has been eight weeks since I ordered my next roll (and paid a premium for it to be shipped air mind you). Ive been stuffed around yet again by the certain company that I order it from, and am seriously considering making the move over to PUL. It makes me sick thinking about it *cry*

Another change to Beetlebums pockets :)
Wow, I never thought I would say this - but it has come to my attention that a further improvement can be made to my minky pockets.
The pocket opening will be moved from now on. It is really important to me to listen to folk that buy Beetlebums and it only just came to my attention today (after just over a year of the new design!) that mamas dont enjoy removing inserts with the opening where it is now.
So.
I will change it :)
Thankyou everyone for your honesty - it really is refreshing :)
