Picking up where I left off

Well, I guess I should give a little bit of a backstory here before launching into my rant about today.

Over three years ago I made my first SSC, and during the time from then to now I have been refining what has become the Beetlebums Baby Carrier - only after tweaking and testing for this long I was weary and just felt I had to get the 1/2 buckle out there or just give up!!! I love my 1/2 buckles so much, they are versatile, adjustable and user friendly but seeing as Ive put so much into developing my SSC Ive decided that Im soooo close now, one more testing round (it is officially testing round number five now, meaning carriers that I dont charge for) should do it and *fingers crossed* Ive nailed it this time!

I take my time in the testing process, dont rush this important process for any reason (dont have any ;)) and I just dont like to test products publicly so as usual the testers will be asked again to be on the quiet side, however Im so happy with this that I have to show you!

Miss Lola, who is almost a month off 4yo (22kg)

Lil Taj, 18mo (15kg)

Finally Ive got a Lucky Girl carrier!!! She has side panels of Purple Mod Hearts. Whatdya reckon?

Can I just say WOW! Looks absolutely awesome Mel. Love it!

How does Taj like being carried at this age?

I was worried Laila was losing the love - she loves to walk/run everywhere lately but I've ferried her to school (to drop/pick up James) in the Scootababy three times last week so I'm stoked. Yesterday she brought it to me and 'made' me wear her around the house lol! Happy Mummy here :)

Thanks guys!! Linda, there is a little boy in there ;), the fashion element of carrier is for the mama ;) :D.

Taj is a carry-aholic, he LOVES being worn! When we were away I went to put on the waist of a carrier and he came running up, pointed at the carrier and said 'Up dere!'. Bliss!!! Well, a whole 15kg of bliss!

oh that's lovely. Great to see something for the bigger, heavier kiddies. My older DD asked to be carried in Radar the other day and was most upset when I told her she was too heavy for it, she's 26kgs.

I wouldnt think she was too big - she isnt that different to Miss Lola in weight ;). I wear Lola in my HBs just fine, however she might benefit from a larger carrier as you have mentioned (or should I say - you might benefit from a larger carrier!)

hehe we would both benefit ;) she's a 120cm tall I'm not too sure how she would go in it height wise, I've got a tall girl, but it doesn't hurt to try.
